I can’t count the number of times I’ve heard someone say:
“Beatrice, I just need to detox my body to lose weight.”
And every single time, it aches me to the core.
Because somewhere along the way, we’ve been made to believe that our bodies are dirty, toxic, and incapable that we need some tea, pill, or supplement to “cleanse” what God already perfected.
Let’s talk truth.
Your body doesn’t wake up waiting for a detox tea to start working. It’s doing it right now.
That’s how God designed it flawlessly.
So when you move your body, eat clean, and hydrate you’re simply supporting what your body already does naturally.
Instead of chasing detox teas and colon cleanses that leave you dehydrated and broke, focus on these fundamentals:
No tea. No cleanse. No starvation.
Pause. Ask yourself — what exactly am I detoxing from?
Unless you’ve been living on junk food and soda 24/7, your body isn’t clogged up. It’s just asking for consistency and care not a quick fix.
Remember, God was not stupid. He built your body perfectly, with everything it needs to function and heal naturally.
Before you fall for the next “miracle cleanse,” take a deep breath and remind yourself — you don’t need to detox. You just need to trust your body again.
