And you know why? Because it’s one of the most neglected  and misunderstood aspects of health, even by many doctors.

Most people hear the word “gut” and think of it only as the stomach. Or they’ve heard phrases like “trust your gut instinct” without ever really understanding what the gut is.

What Exactly Is the Gut?

Your gut starts from your mouth, down the alimentary canal, through your stomach, small and large intestines, and all the way to the anus. In short, it’s your entire digestive system. It’s the command center of your health, which is why it’s often called the second brain.

The Reality: Many People Are Living with a Sick Gut

You might not know it, but your body could already be showing signs of poor gut health.

  • Feeling bloated all the time
  • Farting excessively
  • Acid reflux or heartburn
  • Persistent hormonal acne
  • Constant fatigue or brain fog
